IOSA Preparation
The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) is an internationally recognized operational standard and a model to improve worldwide operational safety and efficiency. Its focus is on operational quality/safety management and it contains over 800 published Operational Standards and Recommended Practices (ISARPS). After undertaking the rigorous IOSA, most airlines realize the cost in time, manpower and effort that was put forward just in the preparation. Happily, once the audit has been successfully completed, the airline finally has a chance to relax after the many months of preparation, and get on with day-to-day operations while enjoying the benefits of being IOSA certified. Unfortunately, 24 months goes by quickly and it is again time for renewal, so the process begins in earnest several months in advance. It will still require a deliberate focus and many months of preparation and expenditure of human resource hours. Whether it is your initial IATA Operational Safety Audit or a renewal, QAS Aviation International systematically will assist you by identifying gaps and areas requiring attention before assisting with the implementation of corrective action in accordance with the required standard. As your partner we will support you every step of the way before, during and after the audit and save you countless hours of preparation time. IATA has incorporated the two-year renewal for good reason. A downward trend towards the "vulnerable zone" on the well known "Bathtub Curve" traditionally occurs after approximately two years. By utilizing the QAS Integrated Management Solution™, you can ensure your airline always remains well above the "vulnerable zone", giving continual peace of mind that your airline is as safe as reasonably practical and well prepared as you approach your next IATA Operational Safety Audit |
